BLS Training for Nursing Students by AHA Regional Team
A Basic Life Support (BLS) training program was conducted on 18/06/2026 for the nursing students by the regional training team of the American Heart Association (AHA).
The program aimed to equip students with essential life-saving skills required for the prompt recognition and management of medical emergencies.
The training included hands-on sessions on high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), airway management, and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking).
Students were also trained in team-based resuscitation techniques and emergency response protocols. The interactive sessions enhanced their knowledge, confidence, and practical skills in providing immediate care during critical situations, thereby strengthening their preparedness as future healthcare professionals.
