About Dharmagiri St. Joseph’s hospital
Medical Sisters of St. Joseph (Dharmagiri) is a Religious Congregation dedicated to St. Joseph, started in the year 1944 October 31st by Servant of God Rev. Joseph C Panjikaran. The aim of the Congregation is to provide total healthcare effectively and efficiently through its dedicated members, without any discrimination of caste, creed, sex or age in society. Dharmagiri St. Joseph’s hospital, Mukkam, Kozhikode established in 1994, is run by the congregation of Medical Sisters of St. Joseph founded by Servant of God. Joseph C Panjikaran, a Visionary of the Age. This institution aims to impart the mercy & love of Jesus through medical services to humanity especially the underprivileged.

About St. Joseph’s College of Nursing
St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, Mukkam, Kozhikode, has been established under the Trust “Dharmagiri St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mukkam, Kozhikode”. Both the hospital and the college are managed by the Medical Sisters of St. Joseph Society. The college functions as a self-financing institution.
Government of Kerala has granted permission to admit students for the BSc nursing course with an annual intake of 50 students for the academic year 2025-26. It is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognized by Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) and approval from Indian Nursing Council (INC). The apex bodies granted permission to admit students for the BSc Nursing Course with an annual intake of 50 students for the academic year 2025-26. It is located at Agastianmuzhi, Mukkam in Kozhikode district, Kerala. It has all the infrastructure and manpower resources for the course. It provides conducive learning environment for students with expert faculty and fully furnished class rooms, library, well-equipped laboratories etc.
