Admission Process

Application

All candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc Nursing program must complete the application form online, as per the notifications issued by the State Government (LBS site) for General Merit seat and in the College website link for Management Merit seat.

Applications should be submitted online separately through the respective online portals for both Government Merit Seats and Management Merit Seats.

• Government / General Merit Seats:
  General Merit seats are those set apart for the students allotted by LBS(Government), following the guidelines of INC, KNMC, and Kerala University of Health Sciences.
• Management Seats:
  Management seats are those set apart for eligible candidates selected from online applications received against the notification on the management website, based on merit in qualifying examination and interview, following the guidelines of INC, KNMC, and Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or equivalent examination recognized thereto by KUHS, Thrissur with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English put together are eligible for admission.

Eligibility Certificate: Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency of qualifying examination from the Kerala University of Health and Allied Sciences, Thrissur. This should be furnished at the time of interview.

Age

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of that year. No relaxation of the minimum age will be allowed.

A self-attested copy of the relevant page of the school record, namely SSLC / ICSE / CBSE certificate showing date of birth or copy of birth certificate from the appropriate authority, should be furnished along with the application in proof of age.

How to Apply

All candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing under Management Quota must apply directly in the prescribed application form available in the college website within the time period mentioned in the prospectus.

Candidates should submit only one application for admission. A self-attested copy of the mark list showing marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in their qualifying examination must be attached.

Admission Schedule

• Government Seat: Admission as per LBS allotments.
• Management Seat: Apply directly through the college website as per the prospectus.

Selection and Admission

Selection of candidates for management seats will be done in the college from among those who applied online via the college website. Selection is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

The rank list will be published on the college website. Selected candidates will be informed about the interview and admission date/time. The students must pay the first-year course fee at the time of admission.

• Original admit card and one copy (for Govt. seat)
• SSLC Certificate
• Aadhar Card
• Plus Two Certificate
• Transfer Certificate
• Income Certificate
• Caste Certificate (for EWS, OBC, SC/ST candidates as per Govt. norms)
• Course and Conduct Certificate from the last attended institution
• Hepatitis B Vaccination Certificate
• 4 Passport Size Photographs

If any provisionally selected candidate fails to report to the Principal on or before the specified date and time, the selection stands automatically cancelled without further notice. The seat will be allotted to the next eligible person in the rank list.
